Microblading

Microblading is a technique used to create eyebrow design. It's all about finding the optimal form for each customer's face — a completely customized approach for each customer.

The procedure is extremely accurate due to the instrument utilized, which is similar to a pen in that the nib is a slanted blade with 10-12 little needles attached - needles that do not enter the skin but only scrape the surface, similar to a paper cut.

Microblading, on the other hand, needs the use of a little instrument with teeny, tiny needles. These needles are used to create tiny hair strokes while also depositing pigment underneath the epidermis. As a result? Brow hairs that seem realistic and do not wash off.

Is microblading considered a tattoo?

True, but also, sort of, no. Microblading is a type of semi-permanent tattooing   since the hairlike strokes are not as deeply embedded in the skin (compared to, say, hairlike strokes created by a tattoo gun). Microblading pigment is also different than tattoo pigment, as it is metabolized by your body and eventually fades away. Additionally, the dye particles in microblading ink are less concentrated, giving your brows a softer, more genuine appearance.

What is micro shading and how is it different to microblading?

While the titles may sound confusingly similar, microblading and microshading are completely distinct procedures, we assure you. Both are semi-permanent eyebrow makeup, but they have a few tiny but significant distinctions. Microshading, in comparison to microblading, produces a considerably softer finish. Consider the difference between using a brow pencil and a brow powder or pomade. Whereas microblading creates hair-like strokes in your natural brows, micro shading creates small dots throughout your brows for a less defined finish.

Are you uncertain which strategy is best for you?

Fear not, as we frequently blend both processes to get the most realistic and natural-looking result.
